“That doesn’t really tell me who you are, David.” Ander held his chin. “Oh, the Xindor! I know what ship you’re talking about, but what business do you have being around it?!” his jaw jerked to the side with his suspicion. “Hmm, and what’s in Centelrda that you want? You must not be a pirate.” and yet, he smirked. “Even so, you should know who I am! Or even the Xindor! Oh, yes, the Iver and the Xindor are famous ships! Look at my eyes, and tell me you don’t recognize me!” he was beaming now, very enthusiastic and eccentric about his introductions as he searched for attention. “Maybe, if you know who I am I could give you a ride, heh!” his shoulders bounced as he laughed. “Sir, I’ll just say that, this man has a very warm aura about him…” Zachary was still thinking. “Right, I know I can get more our of him, considering that!” Ander whispered back.

David "Well.... I was never told of Pirates, so no I do not know who you are." "But I can tell you are one of the best and most noteworthy pirate just by bring in your presence." David smiled and bowed slightly. David's head whirled with cover stories. "I'm a businessman from Altora, I was on my way to Cintelrda for the first time when my crew committed mutiny and set me assail on a dingy." "Then the Xindor crushed my boat and you saved me from freezing to death." "I am most thankful for that part by the way."

“Hmm. Those who sent you on your way as a businessman at sea must not have been very wise! Surely someone would have warned you of pirates, but you say your crew committed mutiny, and no one told you what dangers there were. That makes me wonder,…” a grin went across his face and he began to speak with his hands. “My conclusion; you live a sheltered life. Also, your crewmen and or women were pirates themselves! I’m sure of that!” a great chortle echoed from him. “Goodness, that must have been some interesting drama…” he quieted, and spoke to himself. “Mr. David, you weren’t really going to freeze, were you?” Zachary cut in. “Zachary, what is with you today!? Leave this to me! Shoo! Go work on your inventions, or something! Do some research!” Ander growled. “Oh, yes, your Highness.” Dropping the hint for David he was actually glad to get away from the irritable Prince. “Now, your ride to the mainland won’t be free if you can’t discern who I am. You’re lucky I’m not such an evil pirate, though!” he licked his teeth. “And, if you do come along you may be stuck with us for a while until we have our own time to “help” you. You came along at a busy time for me, and I was actually planning to make a stop with the Xindor tomorrow, Mr. David.” He was snickering. “Hmm, I don’t like it when people don’t recognize me, I’ll give you that warning!”

David "Your very correct indeed sir." David smiled. "I'm very new to this line of work actually." David glanced at the Mage. "I am deeply forever alone for offending a man of such high rank." "I will pay for my ride to the country through manual labor if you wish." David looked into the man's eyes trying to recognize the man, who was royalty. If you'd rather me not be on your ship your majesty then I can risk my life trying to swim to Cintelrda." "Whatever you wish is let me compensate for my... inconvenience." David turned on the praise for the prince coaxing him a little but wasn't to pushy.

“You really don’t know who I am…” Ander’s happiness was broken some. “Fine then. You are polite, I suppose. I’ll just introduce myself.” He smirked as he held up his hand, half absently observing it. “Mr. David, you are looking at the great Ander Rook Hallow!” and he held out his arms to seem more extravagant. “As I was once Prince of Merlaerdin, I had great riches, and such pride and beauty as myself has become this elegant Iver, my ship!” he bowed, but for his boat, not the man. “Sir, you will pay with your labor, yes, and recognize that though I do not serve a royal family now, I am Prince of Pirates!” a sly shadow covered his eyes as he looked up. “Sir, I am Ander Rook Hallow! What do you think of that?!” Where he held out his palm a gentle orb of water bubbled up. “What do you think?” and his eyes bored deep into the man with his question. That David was more, and he knew it.

David "My apologies, Mr. Hallow." David said with a very apologetic tone. "I'm ashamed I did not recognize you, I feel like an idiot now." David looked at the orb. "Wow you truly are a mer-prince how foolish of me to be so ignorant." "May I ask for your forgiveness Sire""If I be worthy to get as much from such an amazing man!"

“Hmm, I’m surprised how much you are looking up to me.” Ander grinned. “Seeing as how you aren’t a normal human yourself, but that makes me happy!” it was as if a sun had been turned on inside of him, the way his teeth shined with satisfaction. “Now you know who I am, and that is well. Hmph, and I am still surprised. You seem to have cut through some of the cold around here. Goodness, I’m sensing it like crazy, you businessman!” but suddenly. “You man blessed by Mother Fire!” he tossed the orb of water at David’s face and pointed so surely. “And now I wonder why you didn’t tell me the truth! Hmm, but we have a deal!” and he crossed his arms with an obnoxious laugh, one that caught everyone else’s attention. “I won’t let you break that deal, even if you don’t really feel the way you say you do! It wouldn’t be very hospitable of me if I made you swim!”

David David sighed and wiped the water from his face. "I see, you've figure it out." "I was hoping we could get through this without exposing that segment but alas, you exploited my lie." "You also know that promise was a lie also." David searched for escape routes but there was none. "I will not work for you runaway prince, nor anyone on this ship." "Well it was nice meeting you." David walked over to the side of the ship and dived into the cold ocean. He began to swim leisurely knowing he'd be pulled back onto the ship then taken to land without having to do any work.

“Oh…” Ander let his eyes follow David. “I see…” if the deal was broken… His mind thought of new ideas. “I don’t see you being married to that Queen of yours! You must not be! You went through the ceremony and ran, huh?! You aren’t true royalty!” but David had already jumped overboard. “Hrmrr-!” The captain frowned. As long as he had his water he was fine. “Mr. David, I am going to learn your story!” he jumped after him. Diving into a cyclone of water he raised David up after, and confronted him again. “If not loyal service man, then captive! A captive for a princely captain! You will not go to land; you shall stay with us for as long as I please! You shall meet our Xindor friends tomorrow, and forever after, until I disagree, you will watch the oceans from the Iver view!” his showed a growl and a sneer, his tailfin curling out in disgust. “I am Ander Rook Hallow, and you know my people were strong. If one simple citizen of Merlaerdin could hold a notorious reputation, then what of a Prince?”

David "You're despicable @#%@!!***" David spat meeting Ander's eyes with deathly venom. "Try as You might I'll get out and when I do I'll come after you." David laughed. "Yea you're people were strong, but look at their loathsome prince no wonder you ran away from home." David lunged at him but couldn't move because of the cyclone. "You cower behind you're power because that's all you have!" "You're a weak prince so weak that a human could kill you."

“And who cares?!” Ander smirked. “Look what I’m doing now! I do have power! I would not be a prince if I were not needed by the Spirits! Don’t you know the old stories?!” a drip of water flipped David in the nose, on his behalf. “A small group of five could be entrusted to look after an entire kingdom of thousands! So, do not play those words with me! I was born with this blood, and at the Spirits will that will not change! I have my protection, and my people still! My loyal workers! I have support!” he laughed and headed back for the ship, dragging David along. “I am a Prince!”

David "Don't you know the old stories!" "If royalty are guardians then what am I?" "According to you I'm nothing but a fraud." They moved over the ship and David let loose. Fire turned the water cyclone into steam and both of them fell onto the deck. "You're not the only one with power fool." David grabbed a gun cocked it and pointed it at Ander's head. "Don't move or your head will be blown off."

“SO, BE IT!” Ander’s laugh was maniacal. For a while he stood still, his veins pulsing, and growing his power. Ellie was still out there. He wouldn’t be dying. “Mwahahahahaha!-” he could have called operation stowaway, called the water from everyone’s stones. An instant veil of his own power covered him, thick. He had manifested the shield. “Bullets don’t work in water! I’ve never liked guns!” he scooped David up, but thought. He was clever! “No ride at all, then! NOT EVEN!” he yelled. David was flung overboard, and Ander drug him deep. One meter, ten meters, almost fifty. There was water all around, and pressure closed in quick on human lungs. “I DON’T DIE ALONE!” his face was covered in a lustful grin. “I’ve got someone I’m meeting before you do anything to me!” he spat. “How thirsty are you feeling?!” a whoosh of water clawed at David’s jaw, and Ander licked his lips.

David Pain took hold of David. He lurched so he could face upward. Then let out his fire a furry of bubbles erupted shooting him up into the surface. David flew out of the water then smashed back down on it panting. "Dam didn't know I could do that." David let out another burst sending him back into the air. He kept a steady stream so he was now hovering. "Hey Ander! I'm going to tell the Xindor you're coming!" David lent toward the direction of the Xindor and shot off.

“Hmph! Well!” Ander still kept an angry smirk on his face. “Impressive…” he calmed. “I wasn’t going to kill you anyway…erg.” But he was upset that David had got away. “No. You don’t even realize…” he would not give up. His mind was reformulating his desires again. “But, you’ve given me an idea.” The captain jetted up above the deck. “Listen, everyone!” his shout gathered the whole crew. “We’ve got ourselves an interesting interruption here! I don’t care so much about him anymore, but he will not interfere with us any further! These few minutes have been enough!” a harsh grin let them know who serious he was, a little demented, and still... “Those of you with wind and fire stones, head to the stern and start us along! Use all you’ve got, and I’ll get us going with the rest!” “Yes, Prince!” “Aye, Sir!” a group of crewmembers ran off. Before long the ship was gaining a fair speed, with fire hot jets to the back, and strong puffs of wind to the sails. Prince Ander’s power added was dizzying where he dragged the boat along behind his tunnel of water. “HMM! Thanks for the idea, David!” he caught up to the human man and hovered near him as they sped forward. “You must be tired! Ahahahaha!” what a scary laugh. He knew the fire stones were not as powerful as any natural power, but still, with many of them together, and with the wind as well it was a significant boost. “Water may be my natural blood but… AHA! Let me help you sleep!” a cold shard began to form in his hand. The relic stone around his neck was starting to sparkle, and he shot several rounds of ice at David. A few times he missed, and to try his aim he threw some snow here and there, soft blobs that obviously wouldn’t harm him. “Oh! I’m a bit rusty…HA! Rusty!” A high-pitched ding, like a bell was caught in his hand as a metal orb was forming. That ear-busting ring triggered a mass of shots from the ship of all sorts of elements. Cannon fire went off every few seconds, meaning the crew had got the signal. “AHAHAHA!” large chunks of ice, rock, and more metal, all sorts of things were hurled out. “Try dodging us! TRY it! Ehehee!” Ander was also weary. I he could just get David alive… He still wanted some sort of revenge for his fake compliments. That had been way worse to him than being called a coward (because he knew he wasn’t one, when it came down to things). What was more brave than running out into the open from your home world, never to be protected again by means other than your own?
