((The continuation of 'Of Gods and Commerce'.)
It is a little after the middle ages, as peace has begun to loom between countries and regions after several years of war. In hopes of cementing their hopes of peace, they have opened trade with one another. There has been legends of gods and goddesses who had helped them with the wars, farming, treasure, and everyday life. There are rumors that, now that many people have stopped worshipping them, they have turned violent against the people who no longer worship them. I welcome you to Uodouna, a region located in the South, deep South. It a place where there is plenty of wildlife, an abundance of white, lush snow, and a great amount of trees. It is a place of warm houses, grand feasts and festivals, and where the kindness of the people is the warmess of all.
It has been 17 years after a goddess had met a human. The goddess' name was Kita, and a week after meeting the human, the human named Joshua became a half-god. They soon got married and are living the rest of their lives (each century) together.

"But Mother, why couldn't I go with Father, too?" A woman with white hair, white wolf ears, white wolf tail, and fangs complained to Kita as she was farming in the large backyard of the house she asked to be built for both her and Joshua.
A woman with gray hair, wolf ears, wolf tail, larger features, and fangs responded. "Because you didn't wake up early like your brother did to go with Joshua fishing." She giggled. "Now come on, Lupe, help me bring these crops in to the house."
"Yes, Mother." Lupe sighed as she picked up a basket full of corn, squash, and various other vegetables. She looked exactly like her mother aside from that certain 'features' were smaller and her hair, ears, and tail were white. She was also an inch shorter. The other thing that made it simple to tell the difference was that Kita was 7 months pregnant, already getting prepared for her third child.
"Mother, why do you and father always seem so lovev-dovey with one another, whether it is in front of people, or even my brother and I?" Lupe asked. "Because I knew that I loved your father with my whole heart a matter of seconds after meeting him, and because I can't contain all the love I have for him locked up inside." Kita answered with a smile.
The house was large, wide, and was two stories tall. The walls were a color that matched the ocean and even changed along with the setting and rising sun. Kita spared no expense for having a beautiful house to be made. She made careful attention that certain rooms were supported by four times the base of an ordinary house, allowing it to hold still in a large earthquake. Certain rooms were also quadruple as thick as normal ones. The bedrooms for both of their children were large in comparison to an ordinary room, they were large enough to hold at least 3 elephants, and the room for both Joshua and Kita was large enough to hold 15. Kita had made sure all the furniture and objects in the house were reinforced twice by steel, and that the frames and cabinets were nailed correctly to the walls.

A small fishing boat was drifting around the shores of Zoulae. Inside was a man, rather half-god, named Joshua and another boy. Joshua and the boy both had fishing rods and were lazily fishing. "Ugh... Why aren't any fish biting dad?" Joshua looked over at the boy and smiled. "Jax, you know you have to be patient. If you aren't they won't bite. Just relax and wait. one is soon to bite." Jax sighed and turned back to the water. He glanced over at his father and slowly got up. Making sure that he wasn't rocking the boat, he got into the water and laughed to himself. "Dad won't see this coming..." Joshua opened his eyes and looked tt see that Jax was gone. "Jax? Where did you go son?" The water flashed a bright blue color and a medium sized leviathan jumped out of the water and flipped the boat. Joshua poked his head up out of the water and yelled. "Is that how you want to fish Jace?!" With a quick flash of dark blue, Joshua changed into a large leviathan and went after Jax. After an hour of roughhousing, both Jax and Joshua were laying on the beach back to normal. "Jax, that was uncalled for... but I do have to give you credit for catching me off guard..." They both laughed together for a good while.

"So, mother, do you know if it's going to be a boy or girl yet?" Lupe asked excitedly. "And how are you holding up carrying him or her?"
Kita laughed as they both walked into the house. "I'm not sure if you're having a little brother or sister yet. And I'm fine. Don't forget I had to hold both you and your brother at the exact same time, and I was twice as big as I was now at 4 months just to hold both of you." She smiled as she put the basket on the counter and put everything away. Kita then took the bucket from her daughter and placed it on the counter. "Now then, would you like to do some training today?" She inquired. "Only if we try to make me hit a growth spurt during it. I'm only half as big as brother in animal form." She whimpered.
Kita patted her daughters head. "The minute the both of you turn 18, your growths in you human forms will slow down significantly, as your dimensions will start expanding quickly in animal form. Your grandmother was a late bloomer." Kita smiled. "She was the size you are at now for over a century until in one second, she exploded to her gigantic size."
"But you are larger than grandma Hali, aren't you, mother?" Lupe asked.
Kita giggled. "Yes, she's about two thirds my size."
Lupe's eyes glittered. They did that whenever she was about to do or say something she wasn't supposed to. "You're three times as big as father in animal forms. How did the two of you have s-" "We never have 'bonded' in animal forms yet." Kita cut her daughter off for the last word. "Besides, your father finds being in his human form more comfortable than being in animal form, and I always want him comfortable."

Joshua sighed and stood up with Jax. "Let's go get dried off, okay son?" Jax nodded as he wrung out his shirt. "Sure dad." They both walked to the large house and went inside. "Hey there honey." Joshua walked over to Kita and gave her a kiss. He made sure not to drip any water on her though, mainly because he was still soaking wet. "Jax and I had a bit of an incident while we were fishing." Jax went over to Lupe and stood next to her. "You missed all the fun." He jeered at Lupe mainly trying to poke fun at her. Jax was just as tall as Lupe. Both of them were fabulous much in sync with growth because they were twins. Jax's appearance favored Joshua more than it did Kita's. His hair was dark blonde, but his eyes were a light blue. His hair was a medium length unlike Joshua. Jax also has a few god-like appearances. He has a few blue scales going up the middle of his back and a few gills behind his ears. "Hey mom, didn't you say you and dad were going somewhere?

Kita hugged Joshua, not caring if he was soaked. She returned the kiss much more powerfully. "So how was fishing, handsome?" She asked sweetly. She blushed. "You being wet reminds me of the boat after you tried your Leviathan form in water." She cuddled against Joshua.
"You jerk!" Lupe stated as she suddenly rushed behind Jax and held him in a headlock. She may have been smaller for animal form, but she had inherited her mother's natural ability to fight.
"Jax! Lupe! Stop fighting this instant!" Kita commanded. "Or do the two of you want to spend another night in the basement?" She asked growling.
Lupe let go of Jax quickly. She remembered the first time they both had to spend the night in the basement. It was more like a dungeon: dark, wet, fully sealed, and three floors underground of tunneling with locked doors. It was impossible to sneak out. "No, mother." Lupe whined.

Joshua sighed. "Well I caught one fish. Unfortunately it was our son." He glanced over at Jax, who was silently growling at Lupe. Jax's teeth favored Kita's appearance, which means they are a bit more spiked. He bumped Lupe in the arm when he knew that his parents weren't paying attention to them.
Jax put his head down after hearing the threat of being stuck in the basement. "forever alone mom..." Out of both of his parents, Kita scared him more when she was angry. "Uh dad, I can't remember if we were going somewher or not... Were we? Josua looked at Kita once before looking at Jax. "Yes Jax, and it's for both of you."

"We're all going to Kair tomorrow. We promised to meet an old friend of mine." Kita responded. "However, you two are old enough to take care of yourselves and each other. Your father and I are not going to look after either of you for the week. It's time the two of you mature a little." In all respects, it was actually the anniversary of her ans Joshua's wedding, and they were hoping to have alone time to talk and reminisce.
"But mother...why do I need to spend a week with him?!" Lupe complained while pointing at Jax.
"Would you prefer to spend a week in the basement?" Kita growled a little, her ears and tail twitching in agitation.
"N-no, mother..." Lupe responded a little shakily.

"Fine..." Jax grumbled. "I can try to stand a week of her..." He wasn't happy about having to spend an entire seven days with his sister. Lupe had Kita's attitude, which made it harder to negotiate with her. And on top of that, she would only listen to Jax on occasion.
Joshua leaned down to make his height equal with Lupe's and Jax's. "Now kids, I want you two to promise me that you will both watch out for each other. And try to be nice to each other, you two always seem to be fighting." He ginned and patted both kids on the shoulder and stood back up to see Kita.

"I won't promise anything." Lupe responded, her arms crossed. Suddenly, Kita reached out and started tugging on Lupe's ear. "You will promise to help your brother during the week!" Kita growling.
"Ow! I promise! I promise!" Lupe whined. Kita let go afterwards.
"I expect you to do the same with your sister." Kita growled at Jax. "Your father is correct, you two always look like you're fighting over something."
Lupe whispered to Jax. "This changes nothing..." she growled when she saw her mother turn around to start preparing dinner.

Jax whispered back to Lupe. "Your damn right it doesn't..." He did a joking growl back at her. "I'm going to go dry off." Turning, he ran up the stairs and into his bedroom. After about five minutes, he came back down with a new pair of clothes on. Dinner was ready by then, so he went right over to a small cabinet and grabbed a few plates.

The meal spread out on the table looked amazing with the mix of meats, vegetables, and sides. Everyone sat down and started eating. Occasionally whenever Kita or Joshua weren't looking, Lupe would stick her tongue out at Jax mockingly.
Unfortunately, Kita saw her at one point and slapped her behind the head with her tail. There weren't any issues after that. Lupe, however, did realize something : don't sit within tail distance of mother when wanting to taunt her brother.

As soon as the meal was over, Jax cleaned his plate, hugged his parents, and left to go upstairs. Joshua and Kita would be leaving in the morning, so he would have to get up somewhat early to say goodbye. He ran and jumped on to his bed. "One week... One week with that annoying thing called my sister." He sighed, but soon stood up and put his night clothes on. Running downstairs, he saw that Joshua and Kita were still in the kitchen talking to one another. "Um... Goodnight mom and dad..." He sounded sad that they were leaving.
Joshua stopped talking to Kita and looked over at Jax. "What's the matter Jax? I thought you would love the fact that we won't be ruling over you for the next week..." He tilted his head to get a better look at Jax.

"You wanted to come with us, didn't you?" Kita inquired. "I've noticed that the rivalry between you and your sister has grown stronger over time. If we return and we find either of you missing or hurt, I'd find the punishment harsh enough to make sure BOTH of you straighten out. This week with your father and I away is your last chance." Kita suddenly leaned forward, placing both hands on the table. "I could care less what happens to this house, but if something happens to either of you, expect a large amount of pain..." Kita threatened. "Since you are more mature than Lupe, understandable since you're more like your father, I glad I'm telling you this, Lup probably wouldn't listen without being put in the basement again if I was the one who would tell her." Kita sighed. It was true, Lupe had recieved all of the qualities of her mother, including hard-headedness.
Lupe was in her bedroom, thinking about the coming week. "Gods..." Lupe thought, "...by the time they come back, the house will be trashed..." she thought over the entire rivalry she had with her twin brother ever since the age of five.

Jax nodded and kept his head down. "Yes mother... I understand..." He still sounded a little worried about the whole situation. Lupe wouldn't be as calm as himself, so he would have to keep an eye on her, even though she was a tough girl, she could still get badly hurt. Deep in Jax's heart, he knew he loved his sister, but the rivalry was started almost instantly for no apparent reason. The two always had to bicker about something, no matter what it was. Jax stopped thinking about his sister and looked back at his parents. "I'll make sure we'll be safe." He turned to go back upstairs, but before he did, he turned, ran back and hugged his parents. On his way to his room he stopped in Lupe's doorway and sighed. "Lupe... I want to make a deal with you..."
